Does that mean my account will eventually be reinstated by itself at some point? The support agent I talked to over the phone also said that the status of my account was temporarily suspended. Did I mess up the system when I filled out a second recovery form? Is the system glitched?Īlso, on the page where I was initially told that my account is locked, the title of the page is "your account has been temporary locked". I'm starting to get scared that there's something wrong here. Once I filled it out correctly, I got an auto-reply just as I did with the first form.
I accidentally spelled my secondary email address wrong, so I had to fill out the entire form all over again. The only issue is that I messed up the form the first time. This time, I decided to use my secondary email as the contact email for this form. This one asked for a bunch of personal info related to the account. I was directed to fill out a different type of recovery form. So I decided to wait some more time.Īfter a few more days of waiting, there was still no changes. I was told that the only way I could get into contact with the people who reviews accounts is by submitting a reinstatement form (as I did days earlier). I was told that there was very little they could do on their end about my account (even thought they tired their best). So I decided to call MS Support about the issue. I received and auto-reply stating that my form went through and that they would be reviewing it. So I filled out the form and submitted it. There was an entry for my name, my response email address, the suspended account email address (I used the same account for both of those entries), my phone number, any additional details, and what type of problem I was having. There was a link to a page where I could fill out an account reinstatement form.
On the page that said that my account was locked, there was a link that took me to a page which repeated a great deal of information on the previous page. The thing that was also weird was that I did not receive an email about my account being locked.
I'm fairly familiar with Microsoft's TOS, and I know how to avoid getting banned. Here's the deal: I have no idea what I could've done to be suspended. We've detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account." And when I went to log in, I was told that my account has been locked.
